For reach the beach we need cca 50 minuts of walk. During the way are few difficult places, thus good shoes are necessary. Beach is very impressive, under massive rock is a flat sandy and pebble beach with width approx. 50 m. Acces to the water is also very easy and flat.

Glyka Nera (sweet water) is a gem! Not reachable by car, it's either a short ferry ride from Hora Sfakion or a rather scary hike along a coast path which runs along the cliffs. I loved arriving and leaving by boat, and the small, rather ramshackle beach cafe where the boat docks is a friendly place. The water here is translucent and feels great.
